Upcoming adjustments to Dufferin County's Industrial, Commercial & Institutional (IC&I)/business curbside recycling collections

There are some upcoming adjustments to Dufferin County's Industrial, Commercial & Institutional (IC&I)/business curbside recycling collections that we'd like to tell you about, including;

• IC&I/business users of the County's curbside recycling collections are required to fill out a registration form for continued service

• the program is changing to be exclusively blue cart based, which means that those IC&I/business locations currently using blue boxes or blue bags for curbside collection will be given a blue cart to use

• all IC&I/business blue carts being utilized will have green IC&I stickers placed on them for easy recognition by the collections  contractor GFL

• there may be a change to collection days, which the County will confirm with the affected locations in the fall. These changes would take effect January 1st, 2026.
